AroundB is hosting The Conference.NFT in Kyiv!

In summer 2021, AroundB took part in a competition from PMHUB where the winner received a grant to hold a unique event in the PMHUB area. You can guess how we felt when we entered our first competition and won it.  AroundB is now thrilled to host the largest ever NFT event in the heart of Ukraine!

PMHUB is one of the most modern and technical platforms for offline events in Ukraine. It hosts events for business and IT, the gaming and entertainment industries. It is also perfect for conferences, hackathons, business breakfasts, panel discussions, webinars and even entertaining IT stand-ups.

AroundB is excited that the offline event The Conference.NFT will unite all enthusiasts, artists, and just ordinary people, who are aware of these new technologies.

The online event The Conference.NFT, which took place in June 2021, brought together over 1500 participants from around the world. Some of the speakers you could see there were: Sasha Ivanov (Waves), Shreyansh Singh (Polygon), Zach Burks (Mintable), Miko Matsumura (Gumi Cryptos), Yan Ketelers (Arkane Network), Miguel Romero (Nifty Gateway), Guy Maevsky, Mattias Tyrberg (Meme.com), MD Rakib Ahamed (NFTmall), etc.

On November 27, 2021, The Conference.NFT Kyiv will feature artists, pop stars, developers, and NFT marketplaces to talk about what these NFTs are, why it is one of the hottest topics today, and how this non-fungible token can change the world we live in. No experience or previous knowledge is required, but don’t forget a strong desire to learn something new.

The conference program includes reports from numerous industry leaders, heated panel discussions, workshops, and much, much more. Everyone should be pleasantly impressed by the virtual gallery, fantastic NFT performances, and lots of unique and unexpected surprises.

We, as organizers, strive to create an affordable event, attract young artists and explain in simple terms how digital art can open new borders and be transformed into something more than the familiar traditional art. This is where you can feel the breath of innovation, modernity, and understand that everything is real.

Because of this amazing opportunity, we are making ticket prices incredibly low. Our goal is to give everyone an opportunity to join the world of NFTs and become an active participant. Special deals are offered to students of art universities – every student will get a -50% discount to attend the event. We think this is a great chance to answer the question everyone is asking: “What the hell is an NFT?” and “What can I do with it?”. Let’s meet and talk about it.

Date: 27.11.2021

Afterwords to The Conference.NFT: A real phenomenon in today’s digital world that are here to stay

The Conference.NFT took you on a deep online dive into the world of NFTs on June 17 where everyone could enjoy hours of unique presentations, hot panel discussions, and encouraging debates. Because of the global pandemic, we had to hold the conference online. But as we are already into the digital remote mode, what can be more safe and comfortable, huh?

Firstly, we would like to thank our incredible speakers for making this event so fantastic. Representatives of the most progressive and industry-leading companies on the market: The Sandbox, Consensys, Waves, Netflix, Niftygateway, and other well-known companies shared their outstanding presentations, joined inspired discussion panels, and answered your curious questions.

Moreover, The Conference.NFT wouldn’t have been even imaginable without sponsors: remarkable support provided by NFTmall and Oraichain made sure that the conference succeeded even in such trying times. Our team is so thankful to them for making everything happen.

You can check the full video of The Conference.NFT here.

The Conference.NFT’s agenda was quite busy. Just imagine: more than four hours of unique presentations and debating points were covered:

What is an NFT marketplace, and how does it operate?

A non-fungible token (NFT) marketplace is like any other bazaar where goods are bought and sold: it’s a place where buyers meet sellers and NFT wares are arrayed and stored. Users can either buy tokens at a set price or bid for them at an auction.

Because an NFT marketplace is, well, digital, there must be a mechanism in place that regulates transactions. This is where smart contracts come into play – self-executed transaction protocols that facilitate trades between users.

While some NFT marketplaces are centred around one particular industry (digital art, for instance), others offer a range of NFTs: everything from in-game collectibles to web domains and trading cards.

From signing up to cashing out

If you’ve never used an NFT marketplace, don’t worry: the process is incredibly simple. Here’s a quick step-by-step guide.

  • Sign up on an NFT platform
  • Select your preferred digital wallet
  • Browse NFT listings, including items sold at a fixed price and those listed in an auction
  • Make a bid or click to buy an NFT of your choosing
  • If budding an auction, you will be notified when/if you are outbid – just like eBay
  • When an item is purchased, the platform will facilitate the transaction.
Meet leading NFT marketplaces at our event!

At The Conference.NFT, we shine a spotlight on NFT marketplaces.

Including:

KnownOrigin: an artist-led platform where digital creators can authenticate, exhibit and sell their NFT artwork. With visions of becoming a wholly community-owned platform, the Ethereum-powered marketplace aims to bring NFTs and DeFi to the masses while incentivizing artists the world over.

The Sandbox: an engaging metaverse where players can play, construct, own, and govern a virtual world of their own creation. Ethereum-based LAND tokens entitle users to populate digital terrain with games and assets while the SAND utility token is used to buy and sell LAND and ASSETS.

Async Art: a blockchain-based platform where artists and musicians can tokenize programmable digital art/music into layers. A collaborative space, Async Art is a cutting-edge portal that aims to create new experiential NFTs.

Nifty Gateway: the premier gateway to the world of NFTs, Nifty enables users to buy, sell, and store digital art and collectibles in the form of Nifties, the platform’s pet name for limited-edition NFTs under its umbrella.

Hopefully, by this point, you’re feeling a little more au fait with the beguiling world of NFTs. There are now numerous NFT marketplaces to choose from, representing an expanding ecosystem for budding digital artists and collectors. We will be discussing the present and future of NFTs on the 17th of June at our leading NFT conference – book your place today!

Light up insights from real NFT pros at The Conference.NFT

On June 17 the first-ever NFT online conference will get you up to speed on all things non-fungible. More than five hours of presentations, hot discussion panels, debates and NFTs will be gathered in one place.

As organizers of this event, we’ve been amazed by the number of NFT artists who are willing to join our conference as speakers. Unfortunately, we only have five hours in which to discuss the most gripping topics and are thus unable to squeeze in all who wish to participate in this incredible event. This problem got us brainstorming about how to provide inclusion for everyone… and voila: We’re pleased to announce The Artist contest as a part of The Conference.NFT.

We will handpick 10 NFT artists to represent their arts. Every approved artist will get three minutes to showcase their project in the most appealing way. The more compelling the presentation, the bigger the chance to grab the audience’s attention. After all artists’ showcases, there will be a pool for all guests to vote for the most riveting presentation and art and the winner will get an unforgettable gift. Links to all NFTs and artists’ pages on the respective marketplaces will be listed on our website in the final article about this contest.

Remember, fortune favors the bold.

Fill out the form and we will contact you promptly.

Fingers crossed!
